Amaranth

Amaranth microgreens have vibrant reddish pink stems, deep red leaves with a dash of green.

They are beautiful microgreens that are usually used to garish dishes, however, these earthy flavoured micros are high packed with vitamin K, vitamin C, and many phytosterols - aiding in the prevention of some cancers and heart-related diseases.

Rocket

Rocket, or Arugula, microgreens are a key addition in our Spicy Salad Micro Mix as they have a uniquely strong peppery flavour.

Rocket microgreens are also a superb source of nutrients, having up to six times more vitamin C than their mature vegetable and a 5:1 ratio of vitamin A. Read more about the health benefits and try our Spicy Salad Micro Mix today.

 

Beet

Beet microgreens have a rich earthy beetroot flavour, and like their mature vegetable counterpart, can "bleed" some red colour into your food. They have vibrant red stems and soft green leaves, which are like all other microgreens, packed full of nutrients.

In addition to containing vitamin K, vitamin C, vitamin E and beta-carotene, beet microgreens are high in antioxidants, and have anti-inflammatory and detox properties.

Broccoli

Broccoli microgreens are an excellent source of nutrients and high in sulforaphane, which is the compound that gives a hint of a bitterness - supporting cardiovascular health and brain function, and containing anti-aging and anti-carcinogenic properties.

Red Cabbage

Red Cabbage microgreens are deep red-purple and dark green colour with a mildly sweet earthy taste, very similar to its mature vegetable counterpart. However, these micro versions contain 6 times more vitamin C, 70 times more vitamin K and a whopping 260 times more vitamin A!

Swiss Chard

Our Swiss Chard microgreens are vibrant and full of colour, just like their full-grown version. They are sweet and earthy in flavour and are a beautiful addition to any dish.

 

Red Russian Kale

Our Red Russian Kale microgreens have a light pinkish-red stem which contrasts beautifully with the soft edged thick green leaves.

Milder and sweeter in flavour, compared to the other Brassica microgreens, Kale microgreens are a great source of nutrients containing anti-cancer properties and an abundance of vitamin C to boost your immune system – and contain over 40 times the nutrients of their mature vegetable.

Kohlrabi

Kohlrabi, also called German turnip, are large white, pale green, and purple bulb vegetables with long edible leaves. Despite its name and appearance, kohlrabi does not belong to the root or turnip family, it actually belongs to the Brassica family and related to the cabbage and broccoli.

Kohlrabi microgreens, are similar in colouration to their mature version, and have a light cabbage-like taste. Kohlrabi microgreens are not only rich in phytochemicals, vitamins and minerals like the other Brassica microgreens, they also contain an incredibly high amount of iron with 0.75 milligrams per 100 grams.

 

Daikon Radish

Our Daikon Radish microgreens have a very similar mild peppery flavour to its mature counterpart. Studies have shown high counts of vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin E, beta-carotene, lutein/zeaxanthin, violaxanthin in the Radish micro, all promoting good eye health, reducing risk of heart-related diseases and aiding in the prevention of some cancers.

Mustard

Mustard microgreens are a key addition in our Spicy Salad Micro Mix as they have a uniquely sweet-hot spicy flavour. These green leafed microgreens are rich in nutrients and contain high levels of vitamin C, antioxidants and anti-carcinogenic properties.

 

Mizuna

Mizuna microgreens, also known as Japanese mustard, have a light peppery and distinct mustard flavour. Containing antioxidants, vitamin C, folate, and iron, these angular-shaped leaves make for an excellent addition to any salad or dish.

Sango Radish

Sango Radish microgreens, are similar in shape to the Daikon Radish microgreens, but have a deep purple colouration and a hint of green.

They have a mild peppery flavour and contain high counts of vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin E, beta-carotene, lutein/zeaxanthin, violaxanthin - all promoting good eye health, reducing risk of heart-related diseases and preventing some cancers.
